In collaboration with Orchidwille, we offer many knowledge filling yet interesting programs and workshops in this greenery environment.
Creating your own tabletop-garden, making orchid souvenirs for your friends, planting an orchid to add a new member to your balcony landscaping, even creating your own new breed of orchid, these programs are designed and run by professionally qualified trainer. With lively presentation, live demonstrations and hands-on sessions, the workshops are designed to make learning fun and enjoyable so that participants can take home not only the knowledge of the course but also the learning experience as well.

Appreciate the nature wonders - Orchids
"Orchids are among the most evolutionarily advanced family of all the plants. They have remarkable specializations for pollination, water uptake and storage. These specializations differentiate Orchids from all other flowering plant families... In some extremely specialized orchids, like the Eurasian genus Ophrys, the labellum is adapted to have a colour, shape and odour which attracts male insects via mimicry of a receptive female. Pollination happens as the insect attempts to mate with flowers..."

Be creative with orchid
Not just a handicraft workshop allows you to enjoy a good few hours of creative session, turning a plain pot into a beautiful stationery holder decorated with real orchid flowers, Orchid & Craft enriches the participants with the knowledge of science of the flower colour pigment, pressed flower technique and flower colour preservation. For some special arranged sessions, participants can even have the opportunity to pick flowers from the farm to decorate his/her masterpiece. |

Learn to plant orchid and take it home
Many people are fascinated by orchids, one of the most beautiful and interesting plant families in the world. However, it can often be confusing and difficult to comprehend the massive numbers and variations of orchid species and hybrids, let alone understand how to grow them. Some people may just buy and grow orchids like any other plants (see pic). However, since orchids require a specialized form of care, it is likely that their orchids would not keep for long.
Orchid Cultivation is an all-rounded course for beginners. Plant, pot and planting material will be provided for your hands-on experience on Potting & Repotting of orchid plant. The expert will also share tips with you on Care & Maintenance and Pests & Diseases Control of Orchids Plants. You can even bring your sick plants for the expert to diagnose and bring home the orchid you have just planted. |

Have you ever thought of creating a new orchid species? This advanced course teaches you the technique of orchid hybridisation, seed sowing, and orchid naming.
This course also includes orchid cloning and tissue culture techniques. Tissue culture, the commonly used orchid cloning technique, opens the door to the world of Life Sciences. Live demonstrations and hand-on session keeps you on the edge of your seats as you learn first-hand how to clone orchid seedlings and grow orchids in our laboratories. |

A Terrarium, also called "Wardian Cases", is a tightly closed clear glass container for growing and displaying plants, especially for plants that do not normally thrive well in a normal home atmosphere. It is a miniature, self-contained eco-system.
Terrariums are great for people on the go because they are so easy to maintain. As they are self-contained, they require very little care. Terrariums allow us to keep plants easily in our homes in attractive, decorative containers, while creating an environment which requires very little care. |
